Our founder, Robert de Villiers, has over 19 years of experience as a Claims and Commercial Specialist, he have developed a deep understanding of the construction and infrastructure sectors, working on projects across Australia, South Africa, Namibia, and Zambia. He has demonstrated success in claims & dispute management, cost engineering, contracts & commercial management, and project management systems for various mega-projects valued at over $1B.

As the previous founder and owner of two successful Quantity Surveying & Claims Consulting businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa, Robert has provided tailored services to many clients, helping them achieve their project objectives while mitigating risks and optimizing financial performance. His diverse experience includes working on both the client and contractor side, enabling him to offer comprehensive and balanced solutions in the fields of Rail, SMEIPP, Roads, and Piping Projects.

In April 2023, he founded PiVOTiQ Pty Ltd, a boutique consultancy that specializes in claims, contracts, and commercial services. Leveraging in-house expertise, knowledge, and industry partnerships, PiVOTiQ aims to become a trusted turnkey provider for the Road, Rail, Utilities, Maritime, Oil & Gas, Commercial, and Social Infrastructure sectors in Australia.

He holds professional memberships with the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS), the Institute of Construction Claims Practitioners (MICCP), and The Society of Construction Law (Australia).
